Hi, I’m Cindy and I’m currently living in Dallas, TX. I’m a full-time grad student and when I’m not shooting, you can find me eating potato chips at home, doing homework in a coffee shop, or playing ultimate frisbee.

I got my first camera when I was 7 and most cameras still required film. From that point on, I almost always had a camera but it wasn’t until Facebook told me that I had uploaded over 10,000 photos in 5 years that I realized I wanted to take better photos rather than just more photos. I dug my parent’s old film SLR out from the back of their closet and started learning about how the manual settings work. However, buying and processing film was very expensive in 2012, and I soon calculated that shooting and processing just a measly 536 photos on film would be the cost of a DSLR. In January of 2013, I bought my Canon T3i, which I am still shooting with to this day (full equipment list here).

To get to know me a little better, here are two identity photo projects that I’ve done:
Fanciness (2015) || American (2017)
